Durga Puja!

Durga Puja, also called Durgotsava, is an annual Hindu festival originating in the Indian subcontinent which reveres and pays homage to the Hindu goddess, Durga.

Observences : Goddess Durga is worshipped

Celebrations : Navaratri is celebrated by communities getting together for dances and nightly feasts.
In India, the most colourful and elaborate celebrations take part in Bengal, where huge idols of the goddess are worshipped.
